The purpose of this website is to promote the knowledge and
use of Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) in Hong Kong,
and also other Chinese-speaking areas. EUS is an advanced endoscopic procedure
that is widely used in the investigations of various diseases involving
oesophagus, stomach, intestine, liver, bile ducts, pancreas, colon, rectum and
lung. In recent years, the
development of EUS is growing very fast and it may not be easily understood by
normal people, or even medical practitioners, about its clinical applications.
Therefore, we hope through the introduction and discussion in this website,
more people would understand this innovative endoscopic investigation and
treatment modality. Besides EUS, this website would also introduce other
related endoscopic researches and treatment to the audience.
